SolarBrick
The SolarBrick is a self-contained premium solar powered lighting
device for traffic and decorative uses. It is waterproof, easy to
install and can be driven over by vehicles. See specifications
below. The SolarBrick is available in 6 attractive colours. It comes
in 4 standard sizes, 200x200x60mm, 200x100x60mm, 100x100x60mm and
100mm round x 60mm.
Rechargeable batteries currently used in solar devices need repeated battery replacement every 2-3 years at best. They also have a narrow working temperature range. Ultracapacitors enable SolarBrick lighting devices to be used in any environment without maintenance for more than 10 years and have a wide operating temperature range of -40°~75°C (-40°~167°F). The SolarBrick uses a patented ultracapacitor, the EnergyCache, to store its charge. See the Technology section for more information about the EnergyCache.
During the day, solar energy is converted to electricity through the solar cells and stored in the ultracapacitor. At night, the inviting soft glow from the light emitting diode (LED) is automatically turned on. Full charge takes 1 hour under direct sunlight and 6-8 hours under shade. The light is “on” for more than 12 hours with a fully charged ultracapacitor.

Warranty
SolarBricks are covered by a 3 year manufacturer's warranty against defects on workmanship or materials used. The warranty service is limited to the replacement or repair of SolarBricks that become defective under normal usage, as determined by Hotbeam. This warranty does not cover SolarBricks that have been abused, improperly used or disassembled. Except as stated above, no other express warranty applies. Any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure of the SolarBrick is excluded.
