The Ribbon Series Economy® range is an economical alternative to our premium linear LED range. It is ideal for cost conscious applications where longevity and heat are less of concern. Like the premium range, the slim profile of the economy range makes it easy to install with an adhesive backing. It comes in a range of colors.
The Ribbon consumes less than 4 watts^ of power per metre length and is available in warm white to cool white and a range of other colours. The Ribbon uses high brightness SMD LEDs as its light source and it can be powered from our EDMC3/6 LED Drivers.

One meter of the HBES5-600 produces equivalent light output to a 35w halogen lamp.
Installation
The Ribbon may be cut to fit into installations if necessary. Cutting marks are printed on the Ribbon and must be adhered to.
The smallest workable segment of the Ribbon is 50mm for the HBE5-300, 25mm for the HBE5-600 and 38mm for the HBES5-600. The Ribbon may be curved around large radii provided there are no LED components on the bend and the force does not crease the ribbon. The Ribbon should be secured down immediately to avoid cyclic fatigue and breakage. Make sure you are grounded to remove any static electricity. Static electricity may damage the LEDs and other Ribbon components.
