Ribbon Series
Flexible. Slimline. Ease of installation. Very long life.
The Ribbon Series is a family of flexible, high brightness LED strip light designed for use in interior applications. Its small size, cool light output and modular design give it flexibility in installation into confined spaces such as pelmets, coffers and coves. The 120° wide angle beam ensures that the surface being illuminated is bright and even. The self adhesive backing also lends itself for use in furtniture, room and lighting/display design.
Available in 3 light output models (see below), the Ribbon Series can either give your display a lift or be the main light source in your unit. The Ribbon Series is available in models HBA6-360, HBL3-180, the new 600 lumen/meter HBL3-180S and the HBL4-280. Ask for a datasheet.

One meter of the HBL3-180S produces more light output than a 35w halogen lamp.
Installation
The Ribbon may be cut to fit into installations if necessary. Cutting marks are printed on the ribbon and must be adhered to. The smallest workable segment of the HBA6-360 and HBL3-180S Ribbon is 50mm long and contains 3 LEDs. The HBL3-180 Ribbon's minimum segment length is 33.3mm and contain 2 LEDs whilst the HBL4-280's minimum segment length is 76mm and contain 5 LEDs.
The Ribbon may be curved around small radii provided there are no LED components on the bend and the force does not crease the ribbon. The Ribbon should be secured down immediately to avoid cyclic fatigue and breakage. Make sure you are grounded to remove any static electricity. Static electricity will damage the LEDs and other Ribbon components.

Warranty
LED Fittings & Modules (Ribbon Series) are covered by a 2 year manufacturer's warranty against defects on workmanship or materials used. The warranty service is limited to the replacement or repair of the smallest LED segment that become defective under normal usage, as determined by Hotbeam. This warranty does not cover LED Fittings & Modules (Ribbon Series) that have been abused, improperly used or disassembled. Except as stated above, no other express warranty applies. Any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the failure of the Lamp is excluded.
